Samajwadi Party State president Rabi Behera on Saturday requested BJD president and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik to oppose the Farmers’ Bill in the Rajya Sabha on Sunday. “In the name of doubling the farmers’ income, the Narendra Modi Government introduced three draconian, anti-farmer and pro-corporate Bills and got them passed in the Lok Sabha on Thursday. These bills will come up for discussion in the Rajya Sabha. If these bills are passed, it will bring a bleak future for the farming community.”, wrote Bahera in aletter to CM.
