The Congress on Monday alleged that there has been an undeclared alliance between Naveen Patnaik and Narendra Modi even since the BJP came to power at Centre in 1914 and said alliance has caused a loss of Rs 72,000 crore to Odisha exchequer.
Senior party leader and former Minister Panchanan Kanungo made this allegation at a Press conference here. He said the State had legitimate right to get Rs 72,000 from Centre on different heads during the last six years but could not get it due to unwritten pact between Naveen and Modi.
He termed that pact as ‘Namo’. He criticised BJD for providing unconditional support to all “anti-people” and “undemocratic” decisions of Modi Government. He slammed State Government for rise in loan burden of State.
