Non-resident Odias (NRO) would play a vital role to make the State number one in the country, said Union Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Dharmendra Pradhan at the 4th annual event of Prabasi Odia Utsav 2019 held in New Delhi on Sunday.
He said that all Odias should come together to create identity of their State at global level. The Minister also said that it is not only the responsibilities of the State and Central Governments but of all Odias to create an identity of Odisha across the globe like by promoting Odisha’s Chenapoda, Arisa Pitha, Sambalpuri Saree and Khordha towel and others.
The objective of the Utsav is to promote Odia culture, handicrafts and food.
