--BJP State chief slams Naveen Govt for being detected by officers : The BJP will not do seat sharing adjustment with BJD in any elections for the next 100 years, said State BJP president Man Mohan Samal in a Press meet at Keonjhar on Saturday.
He was asked if the BJP was going for any seat agreement in the context of its growing bonhomie with the BJD, during his two-day visit to the district.
Samal praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for India hosting the G-20 summit in New Delhi and other achievements of the BJP-led NDA Government in various sectors.
On the contrary, he took a dig at the State BJD Government alleging that there is no system of administration in Odisha as it is dictated by 4-5 officers. He wondered if the CM who is mostly inaccessible these days is aware of the present situation and the groundswell of people’s distrust and disenchantment against the State Government. He said the Ministers / MLAs who are answerable to people of their constituencies are voiceless and looking to each other for help.
Similarly, Samal raised issues of the misutilisation of OMBADC and DMF funds meant for the development of people of Keonjhar district.
Among others present at the meet were Keonjhar Sadar MLA Mohan Majhi, State secretary Biranchi Narayan Tripathy and Keonjhar district BJP president Sabuja Mahanta.
