In a letter to the Chief Minister, senior BJD leader and former Rourkela Municipality Chairperson Rashmibala Mishra has pleaded for naming proposed new hockey stadium here after Netaji Subhash Chnadra Bose to mark the occasion of Netaji’s 125th birth anniversary on Saturday. It may be noted that keeping in view the World Cup hockey 2023, State Government has decided to construct a world-class hockey stadium in premises of Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT) over an area of 15 acres.
