BJP State general secretary Dr Lekhasri Samantsinghar on Monday alleged that Dharmashala BJD MLA Pranab Balabantray and his maternal uncle Naren Jena alias Badal blasted the Kelua river embankment with a dynamite in Jajpur district in order to loot Government funds post-floods.
“To bungle Government funds, Balabantray and his uncle Badal Jena have broken the Kelua river embankment in Kotapur gram panchayat under Dharmqashala block in Jajpur district and put lives of over a lakh of villagers in danger. A 300-ft breach has occurred on the embankment. Creating an artificial breach by blasting dynamite is an anti-national act,” alleged Samantsinghar.
She demanded that stringent action against the MLA and his uncle under various laws and a probe conducted by an acting judge.
