The Veera Surendra Sai (VSS) Nagar Unnayan Parishad has once again demanded installation of lights on the railway over-bridge (RoB) connecting VSS Nagar to Mancheswar Postal Colony at the soonest.
Parishad general secretary Dillip Dashsharma on Sunday alleged that even after three years of inauguration of the RoB by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, lights have not been installed on it yet.
He said that due to no lights on the bridge, the pedestrians fear to go from its one end to other; and in evening, it has turned into a hub of anti-socials.
As the bridge is not properly constructed, accidents are also on the rise due to less visibility during nights hours, Dashsharma added.
