Padma Shri awardee and DAV CMC, New Delhi President Dr Punam Suri christened a congregation of around 50 heads of DAV Schools across Odisha and around 1,000 teachers of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack with the happiness mantra to serve the society with due optimism.
During his hour-long discourse, he offered a nine-point formula to stay happy, through many apt anecdotes and short stories. Emphasising on the importance of reducing ones wants and desires, Dr Suri inspired the scholastic assemblage to cultivate inner happiness as key to success in life.
In the congregation held at DAV Public School, Unit 8, among others, Madam Mani Suri, DAV CMC Director PS-2 Dr Nisha Peshin, Regional Officers Dr KC Satapathy, LN Pradhan, ARO Dr Sujata and host school Principal Ipsita Das were present.
Earlier, Dr Suri led a high-level delegation to meet Governor Ganeshi Lal and presented him a memento and a souvenir.
