The second meeting under the State Industries Department initiative “Industry Care” was held on Wednesday with Khordha-based industries at the Odisha Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation’s (Idco) office here.
The meeting was attended by 24 companies such as SMS India, Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages, Bharat Biotech, Parle, Kurl-On, Sri Malani Foams Indo Nissin, ITC, Anmol Biscuits and Milk Mantra among others.
The meeting began with a presentation on all the business reforms and facilitation mechanisms institutionalized by the State Government.
This was followed by a discussion on industry feedback which was followed by one- to- one meetings.
The meeting was co-chaired by Principal Secretary, Industries and Chairman, IPICOL Sanjeev Chopra along with Idco CMD Sanjay Singh. The senior officials from State Level Facilitation Cell (SLFC), Odisha State Pollution Control Board, Factories and Boilers, Fire Safety and Energy departments were present, apart from officials of IPICOL and Idco.
