Former Union Minister Srikant Jena, who has been expelled from the Congress, has said that he would return to the party only if it undergoes a “structural overhaul”.
“I may return to the Congress party after it has a “Ganga Snan”, he told a Press conference here on Saturday.
Jena described the present Odisha Congress leadership as corrupt.
He had brought the matter to the knowledge of AICC president Rahul Gandhi, but in the process he was ousted from the party, he rued, adding that he would go around the State urging people not to vote for the Congress.
Jena observed that this time neither the BJP nor the Congress would get a majority and the SP-BSP coalition and other secular parties would form the next government at the Centre.
