The Odisha Government is aspiring to privatise government technical education institutions. The BJD Government is trumpeting transformation of schools under the 5T initiative, but there are massive scams in the works and crores of rupees are being embezzled, alleged the BJP on Thursday.
BJP Chief Whip in the State Assembly Mohan Majhi said the government is conspiring to privatise the Keonjhar Government College of Engineering, CITE, Bhubaneswar and Indira Gandhi Institute of Technology in Sarang. The government is indulged in corruption in the name of development of technical educational institutions by trying to allow entry of south Indian contractors,” alleged Majhi.
“The State Government should refrain from privatising technical educational institutions; otherwise, the BJP will hit the streets,” he warned.
