The 25th foundation day of the DAV Public School, Kalinga Nagar here was held amid the Covid wave and lockdown on a virtual platform.
Joining as chief guest, DAV College Managing Committee, New Delhi, PS-II, Academics Director Dr Nisha Peshin said the abrupt and unexpected shift from offline mode of teaching to the online mode in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic is a great milestone achieved by the teachers in general and the teachers of DAV Schools in particular.
The celebration of the silver jubilee year of the school witnessed a sacred havan in the school premises early in the morning and a welcome song sung by teachers synchronised with a beautiful dance by the students on virtual mode.
While school Chairman Madan Mohan Panda appreciated the steady development of the school, Regional Officer of the DAV Institutions, Odisha, Zone-I Dr KC Satapathy recounted the long struggle that the school had to pass through in order to reach its present stature. The welcome address was placed by Principal Bipin Kumar Sahoo.
