The Covid warriors posted at CCHs of Khordha district gave a memorandum to Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik through the Khordha SP. The same was done earlier at Cuttack, Kendrapada, Jagatsingpur and Puri.
"We will give demand note to the CM through all the district Collectors over next few days," said Covid Warrior Cheated Forum State president Er Debashisha Hota.
"We demand Rs 500 crore for boosting healthcare system in the State and conversion of all Covid Care Homes (CCHs) to Panchayat Health Care Homes (PHCHs) and permanent engagement of the CCH Covid warriors in the PHCHs for better health service of Odisha," Hota added.
Till the finalisation of our demand the CM should direct all Collectors not to disengage any CCH Covid warriors , else there will be stir at the Lower PMG from December 15, Hota informed.
