The four-member Crime Branch (CB) team led by DSP Gyanaranjan Mishra which is investigating the mysterious death of ACF Soumya Ranjan Mohapatra on Tuesday intensified the probe and questioned six persons. The team initially questioned two forest officials. They were the DFO Office gatekeeper Santosh Kumar Biswal and the DFO’s cook Ajay Kumar Behera. Biswal made a startling revelation that on the fateful day, he was on duty at the gate at 8 pm and district Collector Lingaraj Panda came to the office and was present there. However, he avoided questions from mediapersons and said whatever he knew he had told the CB officials.Later, the CB team questioned Pharmacist Suresh Sahu, 108 Ambulance Manager Pradip Kumar Ram, driver Dayanidhi Sabar and Bhagwan Bhuyan, who were present during the shifting of the deceased Soumya from Gajapati District Headquarters Hospital. When asked by mediapersons whether Gajapati Collector would be questioned.
