--B'pur's first ever Youth Empowerment Conclave held
: Minister for Labour and State Insurance Srikanta Sahu attended as chief guest in the first ever Youth Empowerment Conclave - 2023, conducted on Sunday in Brahmapur.
Speaking on the occasion, Sahu said that Odisha is in the frontline of youth empowerment under the leadership of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, who believes that development of the State hinges on youths.
Chief Speaker Rajya Sabha MP Sujit Kumar advised the youths to utilize all their abilities, knowledge and power in social services.
Eminent persons who achieved success in various fields like medicine, law, journalism, education, business, sports, reasearch and politics participated and shared their experience.
Brahmapur MP and chairman of the conclave Chandra Sekhar Sahu informed various youth development programmes undertaken by the State Government.
Brahmapur MLA Bikram Kumar Panda, who is president of the conclave, stated that the initiative taken by the organisers will be helpful in bringing the youths into right path in nation building.
He called upon the youths to be aware of the present politics, economy and burning problems. Many local youths as well as youths from other districts and States attended.
Senior lawyer Sanjeet Panigrahi, secretary of the conclave organised the event successfully with assistance of lawyer Santosh Kumar Mishra and others.
