Former president of Ganjam district BJP Kanhu Charan Pati has alleged that the corona warriors fighting the Covid-19 pandemic such as doctors and nurses of Brahmapur are in distress and grossly neglected by the Government. Citing an example, Pati said that though the doctors of Brahmapur City Hospitl are on duty to attend hundreds of patients in the hospital every day in an unhealthy environment and are now forced to take to streets, the Government was apathetic to them.
Pati urged upon the Government to immediately declare the City Hospital of Brahmapur as a “Covid Hospital” with an exclusive ward with all equipment and safety measures.
