Medical Education and Training (DMET) Director Dr CBK Mohanty on Thursday said Covid-19 cases would decline in the State within one and a half months.
He said people should be cautious and strictly follow all the guidelines, including mass-wearing and social distancing.
“Odisha’s Covid-19 recovery rate is good compared to other States. The fatality rate is also less in the State,” he informed.
Regarding plasma therapy, he said that so far, 565 patients have been given the therapy in the State. While 114 of them have been cured and discharged from hospitals, conditions of the remaining patients treated through the therapy are stable.
