The Bharat Raksha Manch (BRS) on Saturday protested against the Chinese incursion and attack on Indian soldiers here.
The protesters raised slogans of “Bharat Mata Ki Jai, Vande Mataram.” They also carried banners that read, “Boycott Chinese goods, stop exports to China”.
Manch State unit president Dr Ashok Acharya said time has come for effective measures to boycott Chinese imports. “It is a farce that while we speak of self reliance, we are exporting raw materials to China. Report shows that out of the 25 ships in the berths at the Paradip Port, 20 are taking iron ore to China,” he said.
Advocate Sanghamitra Rajguru said all Chinese Apps should be banned forthwith and no fresh Chinese should be allowed in India. Manch State general secretary Pradeep Kumar Tripathy wanted to start awareness campaigns among rural and urban populations to boycott all Chinese products.
Manch national secretary Anil Dhir said the RBI should withdraw the licence it has given to the Bank of China and India should withdraw the Most Favoured Nation status accorded to China like it has done for Pakistan.
