The BJD here held a Press meet, informing that projects to provide clean drinking water to Ambavona and Bhatli Blocks in Bargarh district have been cleared by the State Cabinet on the occasion of the Birth Day of CM Naveen Patnaik.
They also informed that in another drinking water project granted in the district by the CM, about 2, 91,290 people living in 316 villages under 58 gram panchayats under 3 blocks can be benefitted. The project is worth Rs 453.11 crore.
While Bargarh MLA and District Planning Board Chairman Debash Acharya chaired, State vice president and former Minister and MP Prasanna Acharya, Bhatli MLA Sushant Singh, State Planning Board member Sadhu Nepak and Chairmen of both Ambavona and Bhatli Blocks were present.
