The BJD has hit out at Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and former bureaucrat and BJP leader Aparajita Sarangi for spreading falsehood over issue of NoC to Aparajita by the State Government concerning her VRS.
BJD spokesperson Sulochana Das said that Sarangi has started lying from her first few days in politics which speaks volumes of her unethical behaviour.
Das said that when Sarangi applied for being allowed NOC by the State Government, she had said that she would be joining an UN NGO and due to the confidentiality clause of UN, she could not speak more about it. But now the truth has come out that she had lied in this regard and the real motive was to join the BJP. “Such falsehood from her is unfortunate and shocking,” Das told.
Criticising Union Minister Pradhan who had been talking of Odia pride and targeting non-Odia officers, she said that same man had finally to get a non-Odia Bihari officer to join BJP. “Were no Odia political leaders available with BJP that they had to bring in a non-Odia Bihari officer like Sarangi,” Das asked.
She told that the BJP organisations at the grassroots level are disintegrating’ and in order to save him and the organisation, Pradhan had to bring a non-Odia officer, who is from Bihar.
