One can find a whole lot of them in my collection."Another fashion freak, Sanobar Khan says, "I never went for Pakistani trend as such. But, I was so influenced by the actresses of Pakistani serials, may it be Sanam Saeed or Mahira Khan they all look so graceful in those embroidered lucknowi kurtas. They gave a new definition to fashion for me. I have now a lot of pairs of those printed and embroidered long kurtas and bell-bottom pyjamas known as flared palazzos."

Earlier, the influence of the Pakistani suits and designer wears was limited. Only few of them were known to people. But after the launch of Zindagi channel, and the popularity of serials like Zindagi Gulzar Hai, Aunn Zara, Humsafar have made the Pakistani fashion most common among all.Not only the masses, but characters of Indian television industry are also wearing these suits. Actresses in serials like Humsafars, Shastri Sisters, Sasural Simar Ka and others seemed to be very influenced by the Pakistani fashion.Otherwise, they were only seen in anarkalis or pishwas with heavy jewellery and makeup.
