BJP chief Narendra Singh Tomar on Sunday inaugurated a two-day Vijay Sankalp workshop of the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) at the BJP headquarters here.
While inaugurating the workshop, Tomar said that activeness of Yuva Morcha was very important and could play an important role for the success of Mission-2013.
He said that around 230 selected Morcha workers, who were participating in the workshop, would march in all the Assembly segments on August 11. They would encourage the voters in Mandal, Nagar and Gram centres from August 17 to 25 and would convene Vijay Sankalp conventions of the party workers and youths. The target of connecting new voters with the BJP has been set at 1 crore.
Tomar added the conventions were being organised when the country was observing 150th birth anniversary of Swami Vivekanand and added that Morcha workers would devote 150 hours in the Assembly segments for the success of Mission-2013.
He reminded that BJP could develop an identity only by associating itself with the poor. To continue with this, the party has decided to a representative organisation of the youth so that they can come forth and work for the country devotedly.
Senior leader of the party Anil Dave asked the Morcha workers to work whole-heartedly and highlighted that an effort would be made that the relationship developed in seven days would remain for long term. State BJP spokesman and Morcha in-charge Vishwas Sarang said Morcha workers were involved in the politics of social work only. “Our goal is to benefit the common people on the last row of the society,” he added.
