With the onset of monsoon, the craze for Raahgiri Day has dropped down among the Bhopalites. But, this Sunday health conscious citizens were spotted enjoying Raahgiri Day.

With the continuous heavy rains, people are unable to enjoy the Raahgiri Day organised every Sunday at Boat Club. However, this Sunday when the weather seemed pleasing, few citizens were spotted at Boat Club taking the pleasure of Raahgiri Day.

The Bhopalites were enjoying the weather with various physical exercises. Most of the health conscious citizens were doing brisk walking and cycling at Boat Club.

Also people were taking selfies at the site enjoying the pleasing weather.

It is noteworthy that with the view to promote public transport and better traffic security measures and health among the Bhopalites, the Raahgiri Day is being organised every Sunday at Boat Club by Bhopal Municipal Corporation (BMC). From kids to older citizens everyone actively participates in the day and enjoy a lot.

Notably, the Rahgiri Day is being observed to not only to aware the Bhopalites about traffic security measures but also to inform them about being healthy. So various activities were organised with which people can also taste the fun along with the physical exercise.

Notably, every Sunday a ‘No Vehicle Zone’ is also announced at Boat Club on the D-day and the citizens were asked to cycle, walk, jog and skate there. Further, for a mass awareness programme about health Yoga, Aerobic, Zumba and games like cricket, kho-kho and other body lifting activities were also being organised.
