leader of Opposition in the Madhya Pradesh Assembly Satyadev Katare raised questions before the media on Thursday after two youth were arrested with call detail record and other documents of the Special Task Force (STF). The youths were arrested from Hotel Raunaq Plaza in MP Nagar locality of the State capital on Tuesday night.

Katare, while addressing the media at State Congress headquarters at Indira Bhawan, alleged that the arrest of two youth with the call detail record and other documents of the STF points towards some serious conspiracy.lamenting the State Government over the Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board (MPEB) scam, the leader of Opposition raised the issue of the arrested youths. He said the Indore residents arrested the youths — Prashant Pande and Sonu Kumar — who claim to work for the STF and retrieve data for the STF.

He questioned that why it was necessary to outsource the confidential work when the State police has its own cyber cell. This apart, when the investigations of the MPPEB is underway in supervision of the MP High Court (MPHC), then why the court was not informed. He alleged that this is just an eyewash to sheild the dear ones of Government and administration bigwigs.

The Opposition leader said that it could also be a well-planned attempt of the STF to leak this data for blackmailing. Name of a Soni has figured in the STF investigations of the scam but the investigating agency has not done anything to find out the real identity of Soni. He said if the STF does not have able persons then it is better that the CBI takes over the case.
