Under the provisions of sports scholarship, foe talented sportspersons, the Sports and Youth Welfare Department has invited applications for sportsmanship from players who have won medals in the state level competitions for the year 2019-20.
The department has invited online applications from sportspersons this year in view of the COVID19 outbreak and the last date for online application is May 31.
In this regard, Director Sports and Youth Welfare VK Singh has sent a letter to all the divisional and district sports and youth welfare officers of the state and has given necessary guidelines.
The guidelines issued said that the online MIS programme has been prepared by the Directorate for the application of endowment. Players can apply online through the link http://mis.dsywmp.gov.in/sports_scholarship/Defaul.aspx#.If an application has been submitted by the player to the concerned district office, the said application should be made online from the office level.
If the player is facing any problem in the online application, then he can submit the application to the concerned district office.
Notably, Divisional and District Sports and Youth Welfare Officers will examine the records attached in the application from the original records and send the list of eligible players to the Directorate with recommendations.
Instructions have been given to the officers to disseminate it widely at the district level to get the benefit of sportsmanship to maximum players.Guidelines related to sports eligibility have been given on the official website. The players can check the guidelines given before filling up the form.
