Chhola Mandir police have arrested a 22-year-old youth for sexually assaulting a 19-year-old girl in Chhola Mandir area, accused of sexually exploiting the victim by luring her out of marriage.
The victim and accused Vishal Chauhan used to work as cooks at events during which they met and exchanged mobile numbers. During this, the accused called her on the pretext of meeting her and took her home and sexually assaulted her. When the girl protested against this, she silenced her by promising to marry her.
Later he refused to marry. The girl came to the police station and registered the case. The police have arrested the accused today.
Earlier both used to talk over mobile phone. During the same period the girl got married to another man. But the conversation continued between the two. Because of this the husband left her.
Police said that the accused and victim continued to exchange messages and talk over mobile phone which irked the victim's husband.
Meanwhile a eight-year-old boy died while undergoing treatment who was hit by a speeding vehicle at Raisen road in the night on Thursday.
After the accident the boy was rushed to the hospital where he died during treatment. The boy was identified as Karan Sen. The body was sent for the post mortem after the preliminary investigation.
