A youth was arrested for killing his mother after she denied money, poilice said. Manoj, a resident of Morar, was preparing for service in police. He often quarreled with his family members for money. last night he came home and began to quarrel with his wife. His mother Sheela Devi intervened and was trying to pacify him. In a fit of rage he beat up his mother and crushed her head by a stone. After killing his mother he fled the house.
On receipt of information, the police reached the spot and sent the body for postmortem. Meanwhile, he was arrested from Bijoli village.
TI Morar Rantesh Tomar said that a woman was killed by her son with stones last night. The body has been sent for postmortem. The accused have been arrested. Case was registered and further investigation is underway.
