A youth made obscene video of a class 5 girl student living in Ashoka Garden area while she was taking a bath.
The girl raised alarm when she spotted the accused and when she alerted the accused ran away.
The victim was alone at home at the time of the incident. When her mother returned, she narrated the incident. They reached police station and lodged a complaint. The police has arrested the accused youth.
SI Yogita Sharma told that the 11-year-old girl lives in Ashoka Garden area. She is studying in 5th standard in a private school. Her mother works in women and child development department.
While the father is a teacher in a government school and is posted outside the city. On Sunday morning, the girl's mother had gone out of the house for some work. After the mother left, the girl had gone to the bathroom to take a bath.
During this time the door of the house was not latched.
Due to the door being stuck only, accused Kamlesh Chaurasia, who lives on rent in the victim's house, came inside. He saw that the innocent was in the bathroom taking a bath and no one else was in the house. He went near the bathroom and started making obscene videos of the girl while she was taking a bath through the window.
During this, the girl's spotted him and she started making noise durin which Kamlesh ran away from the spot. Acting on the complaint, the police have arrested the accused after registering a case under sections of the molestation POCSO Act.
TI Jitendra Pathak told that the accused Kamlesh Chaurasia has been arrested late on Sunday night. He has been produced in the court on Monday afternoon. The accused is unmarried and work as labourer.
