A 21-year-old youth died while three others suffered injuries after their car rammed into a divider at BRTS corridor near Hotel Mark under Misrod police station area on Sunday.
The deceased and injured were employees of Veer motors and have gone for test drive on car. The deceased was identified as Satyam Prasad who used to work as mechanic with the company said the police.
Injured were identified as Abbas, Sunny and Kadappa. The incident took place at around 4 pm. Sunny was driving the car and as there was some repair work at road was going on, he entered the BRTS corridor and after spotting another vehicle he lost control in a bid to save the collision and rammed the vehicle which overturned killing one and injuring three.
Satyam was declared dead when rushed to a nearby hospital while the injured are undergoing treatment at Noble Hospital.
Meanwhile two girls suffered serious injuries after their scooter was hit by a Dial 100 vehicle at BRTS corridor near Sant Hirdaram Ashram under Bairagarh police station area on Sunday.
According to the police the accident occurred while the victims were trying to cross the BRTS corridor near Sant Hirdaram Ashram and were hit by a speeding Dial 100 vehicle. The injured were rushed to a nearby hospital where their condition is reportedly critical.
Injured victims were identified as Saloni and Vinita lalchandani. Condition of Vinita was critical and she was later referred to lBS hospital.
The vehicle was seized by the police later but the driver manages to escape the spot after the incident.
