A 16-year-youth died late in the night on Wednesday who was injured in a head-on collision between two bikes at Khedi trisection under Gunga police station area on April 25; youth's cousin escaped with injuries.
Police said that locals rushed three injured to nearby hospital after their bikes collided head on. Accident took place in the afternoon and one of the injured died late in the night while undergoing treatment on Wednesday while his cousin escaped with injuries.
The deceased was identified as Suresh Ahirwar of Sunkheda while his cousin Raju was injured in the accident and his condition is stable.
Body was sent for the post mortem after the preliminary investigation. The police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and started further investigation.
Police have registered case against rider of other bike.
On Monday morning Suresh had gone to Kalara along with his cousin Raju to bring medicine for his father and while on his way back he collided with another motorcycle head on. Suresh was to Sanjeevani Hospital in Etkhedi. Suresh's father has lung disease and he had gone to get medicine for him.
Family of Suresh due to lack of improvement in treatment at Sanjeevani Hospital, took Suresh to Lilavati Hospital where he was operated and On 26 and later he died. The family members alleged that negligence of the doctor in the operation caused death of their son.
