A 24-year-old youth committed suicide by hanging from the ceiling at his Dwarka Nagar residence under Station Bajaria police station on Saturday.
Police said that the deceased is identified as Pramod Kumar Singh was found hanging and was rushed to nearby hospital where he was declared dead.
The deceased used to remain depressed over unemployment and failure to clear class X examinations which was told by the family members. The police have not found any suicide note in the investigation.
Deceased of father works with PWD department. The deceased left studies after failing to clear class X examination twice and was unemployed.
In the initial investigation police have found that in the evening around 6 his mother found his body hanging with the ceiling and rushed him to Hamidia hospital but doctors declared him dead. During the investigation family members also revealed that the deceased used to spend using mobile phone and around a couple of days back he smashed the phone on the floor breaking it into pieces.
