After updating status over Whatsapp ‘Going to die’ a 26-year-old youth committed suicide by hanging with the ceiling at Bakania village under Khajuri Sadak police station area on Tuesday.
The deceased Rajkumar Nayar was spotted hanging by the family members after his friend checked Whatsapp status regarding death and informed family.He was taken to nearby hospital where he was declared dead. After the preliminary investigation the body was sent for the post mortem. A case under section 174 of the CrPC was registered by the police.
Family members expressed ignorance over reason behind the suicide. Police would check mobile phone to investigate reason behind the extreme step taken by Rajkumar.On Tuesday night the deceased returned home had food and went to sleep n his room and was spotted hanging with the ceiling by family. Police have not recovered any suicide note which could help in revealing the reason behind the suicide but he left status regarding his suicide which could not reveal reason of suicide. The post mortem report is awaited and other reasons behind the death would be investigated.
Till the morning family was not aware that Rajkumar committed suicide and when his friend Rajesh checked his Whatsapp status he reached Rajkumar’s house to check his well-being and after which family members checked in his room only to find him hanging.
