A 21-year-old youth died after he got electrocuted at an under construction bridge at Mubarakpur on Wednesday ; he was injured by live wires of generators which were meant to create light for construction work in the dark.
The youth who was working at the site sustained severe injuries after he came into direct contact with the live wires. The deceased sustained injuries he was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was declared dead. After the preliminary investigation the body was sent for the post mortem. Police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC. Police said a case under section 304 A of the IPC and would be registered if negligence is found at the work and action would be taken against responsible person. The deceased used to work as labour and was carrying material and when he tried to move with the material. Meanwhile, a 22-year-old youth committed suicide by hanging at his residence at Vrandawan Nagar under Ayodhya Nagar police station area on Wednesday.
The deceased identified as Vishal Edison was found hanging at his house and was declared dead when he was taken to hospital. He had also sent his photograph on whattasapp to his mother’s sister (maternal aunt) and wrote that this is his last image. In a suicide note he left behind, he stated that he ends his life and no one should be held responsible for it. As soon as his maternal aunt saw the message she ran towards his house but he had hanged himself. He had been found hanged at around 4 pm in the house. Police have registered a case under section, 174 of CrPC and sent the body for the post mortem.
The statements of his family members are yet to be recorded which could reveal the reason behind the suicide.
