A 24-year-old youth was mowed down by a speeding vehicle near Jamunia village under Khajuri Sadak police station area late in the night on Thursday.
According to the police an injured man was rushed to a nearby hospital after his was hit by a speeding unidentified vehicle. The locals informed the police and on the receipt of the information, a police team reached the spot and started investigation.
The deceased was identified as Rahul Singh of Bairagarh Kalan. The incident took place at around 10 pm when the deceased was walking towards his house. The collision proved fatal for the deceased.
After the preliminary investigation, the body was sent for the post mortem and the police have registered a case under section 304 A of the IPC.
Meanwhile, a 24-year old youth died under suspicious circumstances near Subhash School under Bajaria police station area on Thursday.
According to the police, Jagdish Mali was admitted at a private hospital on May 8 and later referred to Hamidia hospital where he died during treatment. Police said that the deceased used to work as labour in Chandbad.
