A 23-year-old youth died while his friend escaped with injuries after their motorbike was hit by a speeding car at Indus Garden Phase II under Shahpura police station area on January 11; youth died while undergoing treatment at Bansal hospital.
According to the police two youths were rushed to nearby hospital where one of the youth died while undergoing treatment at Bansal hospital on Saturday.
The deceased identified as Sawan Mandal of Madhubani district in Bihar while the injured was identified Abhishek.
Police said that the deceased came to the city to meet his friend Abhisek.
The car bearing registration number MP04-CH-6677 was seized by the police. The car in a bid to rescue after hitting the motorbike hit an vegetable vendor’s hand cart.
Body was sent for the post mortem after the preliminary investigation the police have registered a case section 174 of the CrPC and have started further investigation.
Meanwhile a 37-year-old head constable died under suspicious circumstances at 7th Battalion under Jehangirabad police station area on Sunday.
According to the police the deceased Vijay Prakash Sharma died during treatment on Sunday who was rushed after he reported illness on Saturday. The body was sent for the post mortem after the preliminary investigation. The police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC.
Investigating Officer ASI Ashok Sharma said that the deceased reported illness on Saturday and later died during treatment. It was found that the deceased used to consume excessive liquor.
The reason of the death could not be ascertained as the post mortem report is awaited which could help in revealing further details of the death.
