A 23-year-old youth died after his motorbike was hit by a speeding vehicle at Bilkharia Road under Bilkharia police station area on Monday.
Police said an injured youth was declared dead when taken to hospital. The youth was identified as Jagdish of Bilkharia and was returning from work.
During the investigation police found that the youth was on his way to home in Bilkharia when he his motorbike was hit from behind by a speeding vehicle.
The police have sent the body for the post mortem after the preliminary investigation. The details of the vehicle are yet to be found. The police have registered a case under section 304 A of the IPC and started further investigation.
Meanwhile, a 90-year-old woman died while crossing railway tracks at Bhanpur railway crossing under Chhola Mandir police station area on Monday.
Police said that a woman was hit by a speeding train when she was trying to cross railway tracks and was rushed to a nearby hospital where she was declared dead. The deceased identified as laxmi Bai was a resident of Bhanpur.
The reason of the woman’s crossing the railway tracks where the crossing has been closed remains unknown. The deceased committed suicide or it was an accident could not be ascertained at the moment and would be investigated said the police.
After the preliminary investigation the body was sent for the post mortem. The police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and have started further investigation.
