A 20-year-old youth died after his bike was hit by a speeding vehicle near Nandgaon under Berasia police station area on Tuesday; vehicle which hit bike remained unidentified claimed police.
Police said that an injured youth was rushed to a hospital he died during treatment and was identified as Amukh Sharma. In the evening on Tuesday Amukh has gone with to meet his relative and when he was returning late in the evening his bike was hit by a speeding vehicle.
After the preliminary investigation the body was sent for the post mortem. The police have registered a case under section 304 A of the IPC and started further investigation.
Police have not found any details of the vehicle which the hit as no one have spotted the errant vehicle. Nearby CCTV cameras would be investigated. The deceased was found in an injured stated and police were informed by commuters and with the help of locals they were sent to the hospital.
Meanwhile, a 78-year-old man died after iron ladder fell over his head at Bhopal cold store at Islam Nagar under Eithkhedi; ladder fell after it was hit by a loading auto rickshaw.
The deceased identified as Gangadhar Mehar was rushed to nearby hospital after he was hit by iron ladder and at the hospital he was declared dead.
Police said that the deceased used to work as security guard and was on duty at the time of incident. The speeding loading auto rickshaw hit a ladder which fell over Gangadhar’s head and caused his death.
The police was informed and on the receipt a police team reached the spot and started investigation. The body was sent for the post mortem. After preliminary investigation police have registered against errant driver and started further investigation.
