A 22-year-old youth committed suicide by hanging from the ceiling at his Anna Nagar house under Govindpura police station area late in the night on Sunday. Police said that the deceased identified as Sunny of Anna Nagar was found hanging with the ceiling and was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was declared dead.
In the initial investigation police found that the deceased after having dinner went to sleep and later found hanging.
Family members have claimed that the deceased had gone to market in the evening and when he returned he was disturbed but nothing was provided by the deceased.
A case under section 174 of CrPC has been registered by the police. The body was sent for the post mortem after the preliminary investigation.
The reason behind the suicide remains unknown and would be investigated in the further investigation. The deceased used to work as labour. Meanwhile, annoyed over been scolded for speaking on mobile phone for long period 17-year-old girl committed suicide by hanging with the ceiling at Dwarika Nagar under Bajaria police station area; police have not recover any suicide note.
The deceased Tanu Ahirwar was speaking over phone and when her parents scolded her she went inside her room and later committed suicide.
After the preliminary investigation the body was sent for the post mortem and a case under section 174 of the CrPC and started further investigation. The reason behind the suicide has been provided by the family members and would be investigated.
