A 23-year-old youth committed suicide by hanging with the ceiling at his residence at Jinsi under Jehangirabad police station area on Monday.
According to police, deceased Asif Khan was found hanging and was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was declared dead. Police were informed and a police team reached the spot and started investigation. In the initial investigation it was found that deceased was alone at the time of the incident and his mother had gone to bank and when she returned in the evening deceased was found hanging with the ceiling. She told police that the deceased was unemployed due to which he used to remain depressed and took the extreme step.
Police have not recovered any suicide note from the spot and the circumstantial evidences suggest that the deceased was depressed over unemployment.
Meanwhile, a 26-year-old married woman committed suicide by hanging from the ceiling at her residence in Basai village under Berasia police station area on Tuesday. According to police, the deceased Draupdi Kushwaha was found hanging and was rushed to a nearby hospital where she was declared brought dead. Husband of the deceased was at work while her children were playing outside the house. No suicide note has been found which could reveal the reason behind the suicide.
The body was sent for the post mortem after the preliminary investigation. Police have registered a case under Section 174 of the CrPC and have started further investigation.
