Dejected with his wife a 27-year-old youth committed suicide by jumping in front of a speeding train near Danapani restaurant railway tracks; man made video claiming wife responsible for his suicide.
The man identified as Rakesh Jathav went missing in the afternoon and later found dead at railway tracks.
On Friday, before committing suicide he made a video claiming that his wife has made his life like hell, she is not ready to leave, she is not leaving me to live peacefully and is something happens to me detained my wife. For the past four days my case is with TT Nagar police and SHO is aware of the whole matter.
The deceased was a resident of Pampapur Basti. Police said that the couple was having fights as deceased was suspicious over his wife’s illicit relationship with his friend Naveen.
In the investigation Naveen and wife of deceased refused any such relationship.
On the other hand family of deceased alleged that two days ago Rakesh’s wife had sent goons who stone pelted and assaulted his father. The TT Nagar police have detained three persons for the act but they were later released without taking any action. Body was sent for post mortem after preliminary investigation and a case under section 174 of CrPC and started investigation.
All the facts, allegations and evidences would be investigated to reveal the reason behind the suicide, said police.
