A 21-year-old youth committed suicide by hanging at his residence in OmNagar under Bagh Sewania police station area on Monday after his mother refused to give `500.
Police said that the deceased Shahrukh of Om Nagar was found hanging with the ceiling in the morning and was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was declared dead.
In the initial investigation police found that the deceased asked for money from his mother who refused stating that she is not having money and annoyed over the refusal, he left the house and returned late in the night when the family members were asleep and went to sleep. later in the morning, he was found hanging by the family members.
During the investigation police have not found any suicide note which could help in revealing the reason of the suicide. Police suspect that something might have happened when the deceased had gone outside which would be investigated.
