Some miscreants killed a youth, who was sleeping in his farm by beating with sticks and stabbing with knives. His face was smashed beyond recognition to hide his identity.
On receipt of the information, the police reached the spot and started investigation with fingerprint experts. The incident took place in Aantari. The Aantari (rural) police station in-charge RBS Vimal said that Raju S/o Narian Joshi, a resident of Aantari, went to his farm to sleep.
In the morning, people witnessed the body of Raju. On receipt of information, the police reached the spot and called fingerprint experts and sniffer dogs. During the enquiry, the police came to know that Raju was murdered by beating with sticks and stabbing with knives and his face was smashed with stone.
The police registered the case of murder under section 302 of the IPC and started search of killers and sent the body for post-mortem. Meanwhile, 10 armed miscreants committed dacoity in the Sant Kabir Das Ashram near Higona under civil line police station. The miscreants beated the Mahant Baba Vachan Das and his disciple.
On receipt of information, the police reached the Ashram. The miscreants have entered the Ashram on Friday night at 1 am and beated Baba Vachan Das and his disciple Sambhoo Ghanshayam Jatav. The miscreants also fired shots injuring Baba Vachan Das. The miscreants took away Rs25,000 in cash, lCD, invertor, AC and mobile. The police reached the spot, but did not register the case so people reached the civil line station on Saturday morning and demanded registration of case.
