Piplani police have booked a student for setting ablaze a bike of a B-Pharma student at a parking lot. The incident was captured in the CCTV camera installed in the parking lot.
Based on the CCTV footage Piplani police have registered a case of arson against the accused student.
It was found that there was an old dispute between the two students for some time. This incident happened with Tanishk Soni, a resident of Seoni-Malwa. Presently he stays in a rented house in Indrapuri and is pursuing B Pharma from a private college located at Raisen Road.
Tanishq had parked his Apache bike in the parking lot of Vardhaman Tower on Thursday night. Meanwhile, Roshan Singh, a student of B.Pharma, set his bike ablaze late at night. Roshan also lives in the same building. The incident surfaced on Friday morning after the damaged bike was found in the parking lot.
The victim asked with the locals and neighbours but failed to find the culprit.
In the investigation the footage of CCTV cameras installed in the parking lot were checked and it was found that Roshan had set the fire. After this, on the complaint of Tanishk, the police have registered a case against Roshan.
The police have started an investigation and yet to record statements of the accused. The accused would be detained.
