Koh-e-Fiza police booked a 15-year-old youth for molesting a 5-year-old minor girl at Kamla Nehru hospital premises on Friday.
Police said that the accused who is minor lured her and took him to a secluded place and molested her and when victim raised alert.
According to police, the accused escaped the spot and is still at large. In the evening the accused lured the victim who is undergoing treatment at the hospital and lives in Ren Basera and molested her.
The victim managed to escape and later reported the incident to her mother and she took the victim and lodged complaint with the Koh-E-Fiza police. At the time of incident mother was not present where the victim was undergoing treatment.
During the investigation police found that the victim was not acquainted with the accused and was not able to reveal his identity. Based on the complaint lodged by victim’s family police have registered a case against the accused who remained unidentified.
The victim was undergoing treatment at the Kamla Nehru hospital where the incident took place. Police would investigate the CCTV cameras installed in the premises to reveal the identity of the accused.
Mother of the victim claimed that she is not acquainted with minor boy of this age and possibly the accused was waiting for her to leave and would molest her daughter.
The hospital staff and management were not able to provide any detail of the incident and said that the enquiry would be conducted.
