The Berasia police have on Monday registered a case of murder in death of 20-year-old youth who was found dead in a well on October 22 at Purkhana village.
According to the police, the deceased Rajpal Yadav was killed after he was hit by a hard blunt object in his head. The deceased was missing for the past two days and later he was found dead in a well.
After the body was found by the locals, police were informed and on the receipt a police team rushed to the spot and started investigation.
In the initial investigation police registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and started investigation.
Initially police suspected that the head injuries were due to the victim’s falling into the well but later in the investigation it was found that the deceased was hit by a hard and solid object in his head which was the reason of his death and dumped in the well where his body was recovered.
The post-mortem report of deceased suggested that there were severe injury marks on his head which he sustained after being hit by any heavy object and that resulted in his death.

Thursday evening without informing family members and never returned and after they failed to find deceased a missing complaint was lodged with the police.
The deceased was killed at the spot or he was killed at some other place and later dumped in the well would be investigated, said police.
