Union Human Resources Development (HRD) minister Smriti Irani would participate in the International Yoda Day function on Tuesday, June 21 in Bhopal. She reached the state capital in the evening by regular flight and was accorded warm welcome by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers at the Raja Bhoj International Airport.
Irani would reach the historic lal Parade ground campus at 6.20 am to participate in the Yoga Utsav, later she would fly back to Delhi by regular flight. A BJP official release informed.
Meanwhile, in a separate statement the BJP state office informed that a Yoga camp would be organized on the occasion of International Yoga Day at party’s state office on Tuesday.
BJP state organizational general secretary Suhas Bhagat and other office bearers, leaders and workers would attend the camp.
BJP state president and MP Nandkumar Singh Chouhan has requested all the 56 organizational district presidents and office bearers and Mandal office bearers to organize plantation fortnight from June 23 the martyrdom day of party’s founder member Shyama Prasad Mukherjee to July 6. “Parliamentarians, legislators, district and Mandal office bearers, elected representatives of urban and rural bodies would participate in this program and would not only end their duty by just doing planting tree but they would also have to grew sense of responsibility for security of trees within themselves,” said Chouhan.
Chouhan said ‘Ped he taiu kal he’ (if there are trees than only there would be tomorrow) and ‘Vraksh vanaspati rahegi tabhi srishthi qayam reh sakegi (if tree vegetation persists than only the universe would beretained). Van Mahotsav is been organized in the country since last many decades. Trees have been planted but if we fail to conserve greenery that is our moral responsibility than the tree plantations would become just formality, he added.
