In order to promote the commerce education with special focus on CA course among school and college students the Board of Studies of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India organised a Commerce Education Day at AISECT University. Theme for the event is ‘Expanding Horizons of Commerce Education’.
It is to be noted that National Commerce Education Day celebrated as one of the main Commerce festivals in India this year during which students of the schools and colleges showcase their talent as well as hosted the career counselling programs across India as well as abroad duly organised by the Expert Career Counselling team of Board of Studies of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
The main aim of program was to let the school going children know about the various carrier options available in the field of Commerce. Because of lack of awareness, still there is tendency in students that bright students only choose science subjects and follows old trend of doctor or engineer.
Bhopal branch of ICAI is also actively participated in this cause and organized a mega career counseling program at AISECT University Bhopal.
In this event more than 250 students of AISECT University and Graphite school participated along with there teaching staff. In the event Bhopal CA Branch Chairman CA Anup Shrivastava addressed the welcome speech and made the audience aware about the importance of commerce field. In the 1st Session Speaker CA Anshul Agrawal deliver his speech describing various carrier prospective available in the field of commerce.
He said that in future era more than 50% job opportunities shall be in the field of commerce only. In next session CA Navneet Garg delivered his lecture on importance of CA and curriculum of CA. He said that CA is doctor of the Economy. On this occasion CA Branch secretary CA Zuber Ullah Khan was also present.
