A workshop on Sexual Harassment of Working Women in the Workplace was organized on Tuesday. The workshop was organized by Bhopal Management Association (BMA) for employees of BSNL.
Workshop on Sexual Harassment (Prevention, Prohibition and Discrimination) Act, 2013 was conducted on. Senior Advocate and BMA Executive Member GK Chhibbar, who has experience of more than 36 years of labour, women and child law, gave lectures in detail about working women and answered the questions of the employees present.
As many as 70 employees / members of BSNL employees, Sagar college teachers, various professional institutes and BMA Bhopal were present in the workshop, regarding information related to sexual harassment (prevention, rebuttal protest) Act 2013 regarding workplace women by PowerPoint Presentation Received Officers present at the program concluded that their institutions will keep the environment suitable for everyone and be aware of the problem of sexual harassment.
The experts said that sexual harassment in workplace and related cases are increasing day by day. So it is really important to spread awareness about it among people.
They also shared that not only physical but mental harassment is also increasing among corporates especially. Women should know how to tackle these situations legally so that such cases should not increase.
Mahesh Shukla, Chief General Manager, BSNL, Alka Shukla, President, and other present women expressed happiness at the organizing of this workshop. Vishvas, Honor Secretary told about the activities of BMA.
