In a bid to familiarise school students with the basics of aeromodelling, a workshop was organised at the summer vacation workshop at the Regional Science Centre here on Tuesday.
The workshop commenced with a presentation on the principles of flying and aerodynamics.
The principles of flying, aerodynamics and aircraft components were demonstrated with the help of thermocole models of glider like fuselage, wings, horizontal stabiliser, vertical stabiliser, elevator, rudder and aileron.
During the workshop, each student prepared rotocopter, hoopster and paper plane. As many as 20 students hailing from different schools of Bhopal participated in the workshop. The workshop will culminate on May 31.
