The young heart throb of the television industry debuted as a lead in Channel V’s Jhalli Anjali. Notably, Zaan is a student of Trinity College, Bhopal, and was here in home town for a while. While in a rendezvous with The Pioneer, Zaan talked about his success story and how he has been inspired to enter in the television industry.

“It has been a long time I did not meet my family and friends so I decide to spent my New Year in Bhopal itself and it’s been a relaxing feeling to be true,” said Zaan. As he talked about his entry into the industry, he said, “It all happened suddenly. Years back I wanted to be a singer but nothing as such happened so I thought why not to give it a try in acting. And this way it all happened to me.”

Interestingly, Zaan was seen in the movie Satyagrah as youth leader which had a very small role. “Working with Amitabh Bacchan was like a wow feeling. He is so energetic all the time, humble and down to earth. Though is a legend of Bollywood industry but as I worked with him his lifestyle has inspired me a lot and motivates me too.”

Zaan while talking about his role in Yeh Hai Ashiqui said, “I played the role of a young boy, who is very handsome ofcourse (said laughingly), heart throb of college and every girl wants to be his girlfriend. But this guy Param fell for another girl in college with totally different personality.” The story revolves around how Param gets attracted to her and how the girl expresses her feelings for Param, added Zaan.

“Being a young actor I am not at all choosy about roles. I wanted to be counted among the versatile actors and so I would like to perform all the roles and any character,” said Zaan.

Zaan in a very short time has made his fan following. Mentioning about his dream role, he said, “I want to perform a role which is deep and serious. A role where I can be recognized a ‘handsome guy’ at least,” said laughingly. He signed off on a happy note wishing all the Bhopalites a very Happy New Year.
